RUF exists to reach students for Christ and to equip them to serve.

Through teaching the Bible in various avenues, we want to help you wrestle with fundamental questions such as:

"How do I know what is true or real?"
"How can I stand before a holy God as an unholy sinner?"
"How do I walk with God when I can't even see Him?"

The purpose of our ministry is not developing mere "head knowledge," but to see your heart transformed by the power of the Gospel.

We have four basic goals for each student involved in RUF at Texas Tech:

RUF encourages you to grow in the knowledge and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

RUF gives opportunities for you to experience genuine involvement with other Christians and respond to those in need.

We want to see you learn to use your gifts for reaching others and grow in your concern for the lost throughout the world.

We want you to develop a view of life which relates God and the Bible to all aspects of life.
