Prodigal God

Likely the most famous parable that Jesus ever told is recorded in Luke 15:11-32. It has had several titles attached to it, but the one you are probably most familiar with is "The Parable of the Prodigal Son."

But this title can be a bit deceiving. This semester Jim Angehr and I will be co-leading a small group based on the excellent book by Tim Keller entitled Prodigal God. In this study we will look at the parable from several different angles to explore more deeply the richness of Jesus' teaching in this beloved story.

This is not a class exclusively for RUF @ Texas Tech, but I want to invite you to attend.

It will be offered at Providence Presbyterian Church during the Sunday School hour from 9:30-10:15 a.m. beginning September 12th.
